D4. The teacher continuously demonstrates integrity, ethical behaviors, and appropriate professional conduct.

During my final evaluation with my supervisor and mentor teacher, I was not surprised to hear that they agreed I continuously demonstrated integrity, ethical behaviors, and appropriate professional conduct. I can say with confidence that I was a good student who demonstrated these skills, so it goes without saying that those skill sets transferred into my teaching persona. There should be no question about whether or not I’m protecting the students’ rights and records and definitely no question as to whether or not I’m following state, local, and federal laws. If there were any questions, then I’m clearly doing something incorrectly. The screenshot below shows my mentor teacher's comments on this domain section.

As shown in the screenshot from my final evaluation above, my supervisor also thought I “consistently completed detailed lesson plans on time or early and took initiative for helping in the classroom”. I am a very organized person and know how things can backfire without the proper planning. Although I cannot trust that everything go perfectly and smoothly every time, I do my best in being prepared and making sure the people around me are, as well. I hope to continue to meet expectations and fulfill responsibilities as my student teaching semester comes right around the corner.
